Computer modeling, the theory of heat transfer and monitoring was used during development. The processes of irreversible energy losses in mechanical shops were analyzed, and the indicator of consolidated energy losses was introduced. The results of the study allowed drafting proposals on reducing energy loss in mechanical shops. The results of the effort can be used in power machine building, the aircraft industry, in ship and engine building, and in the rocket industry.
