Mechanical properties of weld were studied according to the actual standards, chemical analysis of the weld metal was conducted; having the calculation methods and metallographic analysis used, a structural analysis was carried out. The obtained results were used in developing of an industrial technology, equipment and consumables for new combined method of welding of pipes of large diameter for trunk pipelines.
