Theoretical and practical results: The method of manufacturing the alginate capsules for the cell or tisssue microencapsulation, the methods for detecting the mechanical and osmotic stability of the alginate capsules, the method for preparating the alginate solution were developed; the capacity of the human and rat microencapsulated parathyroid gland tissues for reserving the main morphofunctional characteristics under culture conditions and after allo- and xenotransplantation and also to give the positive influence on the calcium level in the animals with experimental hypoparathyroidism was established.
