At that, the rats which have high microsomal oxidation levels, exhibit increased resistance towards physical loading, acute hypobaric hypoxia, chronic situation stress as well as are manifested with substantially elevated microsomal oxygenases induction degree, hepatic catalase activity and oxygen consumption rate. The data obtained show that the rats, which are characterized by the high levels of microsomal oxidation, constitute the special subpopulation of long-livers that are different from other individuals by much heightened adaptation abilities.
