The results of neuro-physiological and experimental-psychological investigations evidenced for disturbances of the integral brain activity during cognitive deficit formation, e.g., making more complicated information processing at stage of final stimulus identification. Data of the brain MR-spectroscopy have shown the decrease of N-acetyl aspartate and creatine as well the increase of myo-inositol. These findings together with MRI data, revealing the brain cortex atrophy, point to the reduced activity of neurons. Course treatment with ergot alkaloid (Nicergolin) and Cerebrolysin of patients with MCI syndrome had a positive influence on the brain functioning in the patients with MCI syndrome.
