Sci Ukraine popup.description2 At ageing the ventilatory response is reduced, hemodynamic reaction and shifts of autonomic balance aside increases of sympathetic tone in reply to hypoxia is increased that testifies the greater intensity of sympathoadrenal system to hypoxic stress and decrease of the tolerance to hypoxia. The reaction of microcirculation system in reply to hypoxia is shown in redistribution of the blood flow for the benefit of the vitally important organs which is more expressed in elderly people. In conditions of hypoxia the interrelation between development of the arterial hypoxemia and occurrence of endothelium dysfunction is revealed. Under increasing of arterial hypoxemia sympathetic activity increase which results in vasospasm and development of the hemorheologic abnormalities, that, in its turn, promotes development of the expressed dysfunction of endothelium at the level of microcirculation link of the vascular bed. Hypoxic trainings, improving compensatory reactions to hypoxia, can be used with the purposetoincrease the tolerance to hypoxia in elderly.
