Researched the problem of double identities' formation, territorial (in this case it's connected within its historical region Bukovyna) and ethnical, which is complicated by the fact that representatives the biggest ethnical groups (Romanians and Ukrainians) have a Kin state beyond the line of state border, where the main part of population is the titular nation. Citizens, despite their ethnic background share common societal culture which is used in the activity of public institutions and civic life and accumulate political and civic values, state values, national symbols, perception of common people's destiny ext. It is also argued that it is necessary to search other forms of interaction of different bodies of power, Mass media, civic society in the formation of common civic identity of Ukrainian borderland and overcoming of negative stereotypes in the ethnonational and ethnopolitical fields.
