The process power parameters study results and machining accuracy are given. It is established that at the cylindrical gears rough machining by the disc mills using the contour machining method the cutting forces are decreased by the 3 times and for 1 step by GOST 1643-82. The accuracy of machining is improved comparing to teeth milling by the hobs. The effective application fields for new method of cylindrical gears machining is established.
