The purpose of the work consists in development of a design documentation of a mobile installation for production of pressed fuel from straw, analysis of its engineering-and-economical performance, an estimation of possibilities of straw fired technologies use for heat energy production in Ukraine. Selection of concrete domestic equipment for production of pressed fuel from straw is done. The design documentation of the mobile installation with 520 kg/h capacity is developed. Calculation of net cost of the fuel production is made. An organizational support conception of straw energy use (straw harvesting, transportation, storage, delivery to consumers, and use of necessary equipment) with subject to situation in Ukraine is described. Information about straw fired technologies is given. Advantages and disadvantages of equipment of main manufacturers of straw fired boilers in Europe, Moldova, and Ukraine are considered. Operating experience of straw fired boilers in Ukraine is shown. Estimation of ecological influence of straw fired technologies on environment is given. Main barriers which impede wide bioenergy technologies spread are described. Organisation actions for effective use of straw for energy production are proposed.
