The purpose of the project is evaluation of possibility of application of modern flow models and corresponding numerical algorithms for investigation of fluid flows in elements of flow passage of stages by comparison with available experimental data; analisys of flow patterns in channels of considered stages; development of recommendations on improving their performance characteristics. As a result of numerical simulation, influence of some geometrical parameters of flow passages of considered stages on the flow patterns inside them is determined, as well as the influence on their performance curves.
