Object of the work is to improve and master mechanisms for railing and rail repair at the mine of NE "Site Management". Object of the stage is to develop working engineering and operating documents of prototype model of vibration hauling-and-ballastable plant (VHBP). Methods of the research are analytical review of current designs, studying the principle of operation, theoretical justification, selection of rational forms and layout drawings of hauling and ballastable machines. Results of the research include analysis of the current designs of ballastable machines, justification of layout drawings of the improved design of the ballastable machine, engineering and operating documents of the plant. It has been established that new design of ballastable plant has been performed with the increased capacity of hopper (up to 3.0 cub. m), equipped with gear of rotation of placer edges and holder for its fixing in transfer position that improves human factors and manufacturing capability of the machine operation. Scientific novelty is in use of vibrating chute for graduated discharge of the material out of the container excluding its blocking and chocking-up; use of rotating placer edges enables steady discharge of ballast material throughout the whole width of tie-and-rail lattice. Efficiency of the work is in increase of the performance and quality of railing and rail repair of the mine rails; due to that, life time of mine cars and electric locomotives is prolonged as well as speed of bulk transporting in the mine. Prognostic propositions for the research subject development: when rails are built in the mine of NE "Site Management" and maintained during operation, tie tamper and hauling-and-ballastable plant will enable qualitative performing the works mentioned, reduction of their labor intensiveness, increase of labor productivity.
