The purpose of work - definition of the list of different types and quality characteristics of organic origin's gems, working out and promulgation of cost indexes on pearls cultured freshwater and ambers for their application at expert estimation of cost of gems included in the State fund of precious metals and gems of Ukraine, for the tax, customs purposes, and also as the help information on market prices. Results of work - Ranges of cost indexes for pearls cultured freshwater in diameter from 3 mm up to 10-11 mm off-round, semi round and semibaroque forms with a different degree of deficiency of a surface are designed and made as tables which display usual market cost of pearls cultured freshwater. Cost indexes for amber are designed. These parameters are base and can be used for definition of other kinds of cost with use corresponding discounts or extra charges.
