Negative impact of heavy metals' compounds on the biological activity and soil phytotoxicity were revealed and experimentally proved. A necessity of the obligatory study of heavy metals' content in the ambient air dust of the settlements was demonstrated. Soil pollution levels by the biological indices were determined. It was established that solid cover of artificial soils, especially carriageway with the intensive motor traffic, parking places on the pavements became a powerful source of secondary ambient air pollution and basin water contamination where rain sewerage were discharged.
