The article of research - basic economic indicators of production and realization of produce of animal industries, legislative normative base which regulate positions of processes on the market of stock-raising products. The purpose of work: probe theoretical principles of providing of competitiveness of agrarian products. To learn a situation on the markets of produce of animal industries in Ukraine and estimate its competitiveness. To conduct the analysis of economic efficiency of production of stock-raising products, expect the minimum possible level of prices on the basic types of stock-raising products. To work the system of economic instruments for creation of terms which will be instrumental in the competitiveness of production of stock-raising products. Research methods: statistical, comparative, grouping of agricultural enterprises after the areas of sowing, amount of maintenance of animals, productivity, efficiency, expert estimation of economic parameters of competitive production, normative methods of calculations. The basic results: grounded necessity of state support with the purpose of increase of competitiveness of domestic products. Methodical approaches are developed to the estimation of competitiveness of agrarian products on a market. The analysis of situation is conducted on the markets of produce of animal industries, its competitiveness, potential possibilities of domestic commodity producers to provide the requirements of users in the commodities of animal origin on the rational level of feed. At the same time probed efficiency of production of basic types of stock-raising products at the different levels of the productivity, technologies of production, and also for the amounts of maintenance of cattle and poultry. As a result of the conducted analytical work the levels of minimum prices are developed on milk, meat of cattle, pigs, poultry and egg taking into account the normative charges of production, a requirement is expected in state budgetary support on 2008 and the system of economic instruments is grounded for providing of competitive production of produce of animal industries.
