The produced strength of butt joints of of structural alloyed steels also exceeds the strength of conventional brazed joints. Using threaded assembly with a subsequent brazing, it is possible to produce equal-strength and airtight joints in manufacture of high-pressure stop valve bodies. The feasibility of joining a structural steel with a stainless steel at a strength which exceeds greatly the yield strength of stainlee steel is also shown, thus allowing cladding of a working channel of valves with stainless steel.
