Comparative analysis of technical and economic indicators of basic waste treatment technologies were carried out. As an alternative to waste treatment existing methods, steam-plasma treatment technologies for destruction of hazardous, namely medical wastes, and high temperature treatment based on injection graded burning torch for low toxic waste processing were proposed. Simulator studies of thermodynamics and kinetics of steam-plasma pyrolysis processes were accomplished, and master database to figure on compositions of waste plasma treatment products and process variables was created. Equipment concept for steam-plasma waste treatment and high temperature waste treatment based on graded burning torch were developed, and configurations of assembly units of main devices was proposed. Studies of steam plasma waste treatment processes for different reactors construction diagrams,and also studies of high temperature waste treatment with application of graded burning torch were carried out. Based on integrated studies performed, project and design documentation has been developed and laboratory-scale and experimental-industrial equipment for medical and other hazardous waste steam-plasma treatment as well as high temperature equipment for low toxic waste treatment with double utilization cycle based on injection graded burning torch have been produced.
