The heat treatment optimum regimes of high chromium cast irons are developed. The connection between transformation kinetics, structure and mechanical properties is established. Use of heat treatment optimum regimes and choice of rational alloying systems has allowed to reduce in 1,5 times the contents of chromium and nickel in comparison with cast irons which are used in mass manufacture.
