The purpose of the work is the creation of national normative base and normative assurance of the research and development works concerning design, calculations and test methods of passenger cars. During the execution of the works the summary of opinions on the first editions of twonational normative documents was prepared, two second and two final editions of DSTU projects regulating the general technical requirements to passenger cars, general technical norms for their calculations and designing was developed, 4 preliminary specification on creation of projects of standards was developed and authorized, projects of four branch standards determining passenger cars test methods was developed. Final editions of projects of standards are considered at session of subcommittee of SC 2 "Passenger cars" technical committee of standardization TC 83 "Cars". The Affairs of standardsare directed in SE "UkrNDNC" GOSPOTREBSTANDART of Ukraine and MINPROMPOLITICA of Ukraine. Coordination and control works of research of normative documents projects development are executed.
