The object of the investigation: 200 patients with cerebrovascular diseases (CVD) in whom CVD was caused by atherothrombosis. Results of the investigation: it was found the peculiarities and dynamics of the clinical picture of cerebrovascular disturbances and atherothrombitic stroke. It was shown the main leading mechanisms of the pathogenesis CVD and stroke associated with atherothrombosis: hemodynamics, biochemical, arterio-arterial embolia. Obtained data gave the basis to workout the criteria of early diagnostics, treatment and prophylactics methods in patients with CVD associated with atherothrombosis to decrease the risk of the development of stroke.
