The purpose of work: 1. Creation of experimental installation for research of spectra of atoms Cu, Ag and Au in Rydberg states. 2. Precision measurement of frequencies of microwave resonances of one-photon transitions of type nP1/2,3/2®(n+1)S1/2 and two-photon transitions of type nP1/2,3/2®(n+1)P1/2,3/2 Au. 3. The solution of a direct and return problem of spectroscopy and a finding of constants for calculation of quantum defect of atoms Au in S, P - states. Constructed and put into operation atoms-beam a radiospectrometer for research of spectra of absorption Rydberg atoms Cu, Ag and Au in a range of working frequencies of 53-450 GHz. Frequencies of 27 one-photon and two-photon resonances absorption of type nP1/2,3/2®(n+1)S1/2, nP1/2,3/2®(n+1)P1/2,3/2 atoms Au for n = 25?36 with accuracy ?f/f <10-5 have been measured and identified. The found constants for calculation of quantum defect in S, P - states, and also constants for calculation of frequencies offine structure in P -state of atoms Au. Value ionization potential of atom Au which VIP=74409.11 (3) sm-1 is specified. The experimental sample of a Rydberg and results of researches Rydberg atoms Au in S, P - states will be used at the further studying Rydberg states of atoms Cu, Ag and Au.
