A method of the taking into account of the magnetic viscosity and excess loss under magnetization of the materials with fine and coarse domain structure was improved. A method where the total power loss in thin ferromagnetic laminations is subdivided into hysteresis, classical and excess components was developed. A base of engineering method of loss prediction under arbitrary waveform of the periodic magnetic induction was created. The influence of the pulse-width modulated voltage parameters on the magnetization total loss was investigated. A two-dimensional interpretation of the modelling results of magnetization of the materials with coarse domain structure was proposed, which reproduces ferromagnetic domain walls motion. A model, which describe the process in conducting ferromagnetic sheet whose specific resistance changes with the sheet depth, is proposed. The developed approach constitutes a scientific base for applied researches at the design and optimization of electrical machines and transformers.
