Object of researches: determination of an establishment of growth regime, development, productive potential of different forms and cultivars of shchavnat (Rumex patientia L. х Rumex tianshаnicus A.Los.) depending on vegetation conditions. Accumulation of nutrients and energy in a biomass, and also optimum parameters of technology of cultivation and uses of raw material in phytoenergetics are defined. For the first time the new perennial crop - shchavnat, which is suitable for complex use as energetic, food, fodder and pharmacological plant is created. In the State register of plant cultivars of Ukraine three cultivars of shchavnat - ' Rumex ОК-2 ', ' Biekor-1 ' and ' Kiev ultra ' are introduced. Author's certificates and patent for shchavnat cultivars are received. Morphological, biological, ecological features, biochemical structure, efficiency and economy valuable characters of different forms (up to 10) and cultivars of shchavnat are determined. New cultivars and the developed technologies on cultivation and use of weight of shchavnat plants are introduced in agricultural practice in Ukraine and behind its borders on the area up to 10 000 ha.
