The purpose of the research was to collect and analyze as well as to implement into scientific use the most important facts about the cooperation of Kharkov University's scientists with colleagues from other countries. The methods of the research were historical comparative, biographical and historical genetic methods. The following works have been prepared for publication: the scientific paper "International relations of Kharkov University in the 19-21 centuries". (V.N. Karazin Kharkov National University; authors: B.P. Zaitsev, V.Yu. Ivashenko, V.I. Kadeyev. S.M. Kudelko, B.K. Migal, S.I. Posokhov); articles, chapters of scientific works, reference books about the history of university education, scientific relations as well as international relations. The collection of articles "Reminiscences about Kharkov University in the 20 century"; "Honorary members of Kharkov University" have been prepared for publication. A second edition of the collection of articles "Kharkov University alumni" has been compiled which systematizes and highlights vague and unknown facts from the history of higher education and University science in Ukraine. These works as the authors hope will contribute noticeably to the development of the country's historical science, they will present a picture of the scale and the character of the international separation of labour at different stages of the society's development.
