Methods of Research: pedagogical experiment; psychological and pedagogical observation; testing; analytical, statistical and information methods Results Obtained: The chief characteristic feature the scientific and theoretic basis and the practical implementation the scientific research has is determining the optimal possible number of educational units in the prescribed and elective courses according to the state system and the ECTS to grade the students' knowledge and skills objectively. The problems of increasing the education quality may be solved by strictly standardized volume of the basic educational information. Its practical implementation was carried out through developing new generation curricula, training programs, textbooks and manuals for the scientific and educational series Ecologist's Library. The educational units were straightened up and systematized according to the subject modules. A new structure of the educational and methodical literature was created. A subject final credit was developed. An increase of teaching efficiency and quality in terms of the Bologna process requirements can be put into practice if the state higher education branch standard in the field of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Balanced Nature Management is exercised and innovative educational technologies, national higher ecological education technologies are employed.
