The share of production cost and heating cost has been found, and a heating cost model has been built. These costs at 14 С exceed production ones by almost two-fold. Therefore, the most energy-saving technologies will be those that reduce the production cycle. Based on analysing roughly 200 temperature probes, transmitters were selected for a computer-based heat monitoring system, and a structural diagram of the system was worked out.
