Object of researches - electromagnetic fields and wave processes in flatstratified dielectric structures with losses The purpose of the project - calculation of characteristics of various types ofapplicators, radiating the electromagnetic field into the multilayered medium with the losses, modelling real biological environment. Methods of researches - theoretical researches, the computer analysis and modern methods of numerical modelling. Features of process of transfer of energy of the electromagnetic field, radiating by the system of the crossed vibrators above the conducting screen inside flatstratified mediums, which models biological tissues of the human have been investigated. Features of passage the circularly polarized radiation through interface between various biological environments have been found out. It is shown, that the circularly polarized radiation of system of vibrators forms axial-symmetric distribution of an electric fieldin depth of the biological environment. On a basis of mutually orthogonal and crossed slots in walls waveguide channels it is possible to create applicators for medical hyperthermia, radiating in the field of circular polarization, and the field distribution of which has well defined maximum in the normal to the radiator in biological medium. It is possible to obtain uniform distribution of the field intensity along the system in the biological medium on the basis of mutually orthogonal slots and also electrically long slots when using the systems of waveguide-slot radiators. Investigation of characteristics (WSVR and a near field) of two optimized designs of compact planar microstrip radiators which can be used in quality applicator antennas at local heating biological tissues have been carried out. Results SRP can be recommended for application in the research-and-production and commercial organizations by development of medical microwave applicators.
