Karazin popup.description2 The aim of the work is to make up new effective (three-conponent, tandem) methods of synthesis of condensed or spyropyrimidines based on cyclic or open-ringed enones and urea derivatives and investigation of fine structure and chemical reactivity of compounds obtained.Methods of investigation: organic synthesis, physicochemical analysis using IR, NMR 1H spectroscopy, mass-spectrometry and X-ray investigation. The protocol of spyropyrimidine systems synthesis starting from 5?arylacylidenbarbituric (or 1,3-dimethylbarbituric) acids and monosubstituted ureas was optimized, that allowed to exclude the step of ylidene derivatives obtaining and to carry out the three-component synthesis. It was found that N,N?dimethylurea formed imidazol-5-yl derivatives in the same experimental conditions with the same reactants, which could be also obtained by one-pot protocol. It is shown below, that the acetyl derivatives of pyrimidines - the products of classical Biginelli condensation, possess very passive acetyl groupbecause of amide-imidole tautomerism. It was found first, that methylation of N1?center canceled this passivity and made these compounds to be perspective for further synthetic investigations.
