The primary attention of these studies was focused on the gating mechanisms of P2X the receptors, namely sensitivity P2X to the temperature changes, the redox-agents; and to the action of various constituents from the poisons of arthropods, endogenous opioids, cannabinoids on these receptors. Also were performed the thorough studies of the modulation of high-threshold calcium channels by endogenous opioids, cannabinoids and poisons constituents. As a result of the carried out works it was shown that P2X3 receptors (both directly and mediately) can be the new amazingly temperature-dependent molecular target for the peripheral pain treatment.
