Work was directed to the receiving of new and clarification of existent methods of research and simulation of processes for study of new samples of capillary pumps for two-phase contours of the systems for providing of the thermal modes of devices. It was conducted theoretical and experimental research of processes of heat-mass transfer in the capillary pumps of two-phase contours. The physical and mathematical models of functioning of capillary-transport pumps from new materials on the basis of metallic fibers, which allow to determine heat-transfer ability and thermal resistance of two-phase contours of the systems of thermocontrol in the conditions of arbitrary orientation of heat input and heat removal zones, are developed. The analytical modeling of process of interaction of vaporof heat-carrier and liquid on their movement in the channels of the two-phase systems, having interface of interaction, is conducted. Methods and equipments are developed for research of hydrodynamic and heat-exchange characteristics of new capillary structures, and their quantitative estimation is conducted. The method of computations of thermotechnical parameters of new capillary-porous structures is developed. Obtained new results make a base for creation of alternative model of functioning of two-phase systems with capillary pumps, which have wide possibilities to be used for the space and ground equipment.
