Object of investigations - requirements to carrying out inspection of varietal sowings of vegetable, melon plants and fodder roots. The work at elaboration of the standard on inspection of varietal sowings of vegetable, melon plants and fodder roots was carried out according to the Request for Proposal, Construction, account and content of' the goal for working out the normative document is up to the requirements of the State Standard of Ukraine 1.2-2003. In the basis of the worked out draft of the Standard there are the progressive innovations and achievements of science, recommendations of Institute of Vegetables and Melons of UMAS, the net, of experimental stations and other scientific institutions, which ensure obtaining of high qualitative sowing material with preservation of its varietal purity, which is up to the requirements of the normative documents on varietal and sowing qualities of seeds in force. In the Standard there are determined requirements to laying of varietal sowings and the method of their Inspection in the succession, which must be sticked to, when producing seeds of vegetable, melon plants and fodder roots. The worked out draft of the Standard will allow to ensure obtaining of qualitative seeds, safety of works for the life and health of people, as well as nature preservation. The Standard will be used at farms of all forms of property, which are occupied with seed production of vegetable, melon plants and fodder roots.
