Aim of the standard elaboration is ensuring of varietal purity and-planting qualities of horse radish slips, intended for planting. The national standard is being worked out according to the retirements of the national system of standardization the State Standard of Ukraine 1.2-2003 "National Standardization, Rules for forking out National Normative Documents" and the State Standard of Ukraine 1.5-2003 "National Standardization. Rules for Construction, Account, Design and Requirements to the Content of Normative Documents". Priority issues of the Standard are raising of varietal and planting qualities of horse radish slips with preservation of biological and economically-valuable properties of plants, reduction of planting material expenses during harvesting, transportation and storage. The scientific-technical level of the Standard meets the requirements of consumers, achievements of science and the national system of standardization. The Standard will be used in the sphere of vegetable growing, by producers of different forms of property, who are occupied with growing and sale of horse radish slips.
