The higher level of metals accumulation in polluted medium was revealed in a liver of the frog. For carp pollution oppressed bioaccumulation of essential metals and evoked increase of their contents in metallothioneins. The destruction of metallothioneins in animals from urban site compare to rural was observed, especially in kidney of the frog. According to parameters of anthioxidant defence and copper content in animals tissues in the spring it seems to be more polluted rural site, and in other seasons - urban site.
