It has been shown that the use of the X-ray technique provides a possibility to study experimentally the dimensions of the nanocrystals SbSI and CdS, nanocrystalline and solid solutions CdSxSe1-x. It has been shown that the effective dimensions of nanocrystalline semiconductors, results in the dimensional quantization of the exciton states.
