Karazin popup.description2 The subject of the research is the authentic dialectal speech of residents of 318 villages of the Kharkiv region registered in the handwritten card index. The objective of the research is to produce the computer-based version of the II volume of the Dialectic dictionary of the Central Slobozhan (Kharkiv) region. Methods of research are the contrastive, realized as an appropriate implementation of diachronic data; descriptive, realized as a research and fixation of the synchronic state of the dialectal subsystems and the lexicographic studies of the entire dialectal data. The Dialectic dictionary of the Central Slobozhan (Kharkiv) region, volume II, letters E-L is a differentiated type of dictionary comprising 3,000 entries that have been recorded in 318 villages and towns of the Kharkiv region. The dialectical units are presented and described according to the standards of modern dialectal and lexicographic scientific and pragmatic norms. Each dictionary entry has an optimal structure: the dialecticalunit, its transliteration or basic transcription, grammar indexes, stylistic and frequency characteristics, explanation, the informative subdialectal context, indication of the towns (villages) registration.
