However, the strong anisotropic temperature dependence of the crystal lattice parameters brings to the magnetic structure rearrangement in the 10M martensite. A simulation of the influence of the type of twinning system and twin width on the diffraction pattern for a Ni-Mn-Ga single crystal was performed within the developed theoretical approach. Observed dependencies give possibility for determination of the average twin domain width, by analysis of peak-broadening from experimental diffraction patterns. The main factors influencing the temperature dependence of the magnetic field induced strain in Ni-Mn-Ga martensites were determined.
