Within the East-Ukrainian pegmatite area (Western-Pryazovia and Middle-Prydniprovia Archean geological blocks) there were established geological and structural mechanisms of formation of granite pegmatite fields of Archean blocks of Ukrainian Shield, and main types and associations of pegmatites developed within Archean mega-blocks of Eastern part of Ukrainian Shield; there was shown the belonging of certain associations of pegmatites to the corresponding granitoid complexes and their confinedness to different geological and structural environments and ore formation complexes. There was given the detailed characteristics of pegmatite fields, units and deposits and rare metal occurrences connected with them. There was developed the complex of geologicaland metallogenic criteria of prediction of productive pegmatite fields and units.
