Lithium and lithium-ion batteries are widely used with this purpose but they can not to answer to continuously growing requirements of specific power parameters of such elements. Moreover, the lithium using is concerned with high capacitive topochemistry of intercalation processes and its high price. The both mentioned disadvantages can be eliminated by using two charge ions instead of Li+. First of all, it is Mg+2 ions. The latter gives a chance to provide element with the same specific capacity as at Li intercalation but at two times lower value of guest loading in cathode structure.
