The Subject of the work includes (involves) theoretical achievements of educational practice of the past which provide the effectiveness of musical-pedagogical development in its systematical complex on the contemporary stage. The Purpose of the research is scientific generalization of factual data from history, theory and methodology of musical education in 18 th century and disclosing of the regularity in the system of musical education of those times. The Tasks of the research are set according to the purpose and aimed at displaying universality and sociability of Ukrainian tradional cultural and educational practice in the system of the world professional music. The main tasks are the critical understating (comprehension) of well know materials and archive sources, the uncovering of the role of educational institutions in the rise of musical education, the coverage of specific problems of musical education of those days. All these tasks were decided success fully at the basis of developed theoretical patterns during the reading of old Russian (ancient Rus') notation from the times of Kyivska Rus' and mastering in the educational practice of Ukrainian medievalism. The Source-basis of research included the most significant published scientific works (66 units) and documents which me kept in the archives of Ukraine and Russia (40 units). All these units (can be found) on page 341-345 in "Resourses" (see the reseach "Musical education in Ukraine of XVIII century"). The essence of the reseach process is conveyed in successive change of little studied musical and educational phenomenon, which occurred in Ukraine in XVIII century. The reseach reveales spiritual potential of cultural heritage and its ability to comprehend by the humanities. It is aimed at creative use of the best achievement and the learning of experience of pedagogical practice andmusical education of the past in contemporary conditions.
