Vernadsky University popup.description2 An experimental model of a hardware and software package for researching geodynamic processes has been developed. The package provides for uninterrupted automatic seismic data recording at remote geophysical survey posts, data treatment and transfer through high-speed cellular communications in GPRS mode to the Regional Center for data processing and interpretation (RCP). The package can operate in off-line mode and without the operator's assistance. The main specifications: the recorded signal dynamic range is 90 dB, the analog signal frequency range is 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz, the number of the external analog seismic sensors is 6, the data storage volume is 1 GB; the package has a built-in GPS unit; seismic data are transferred in "on event" mode (in case of an earthquake) and by the RCP operator's request. The package has been developed in line with the novel achievements in the fields of micro-processing technique and cellular communication systems basing on the GSM/GPRS standard. This experimental modelof the package is meant for using at a fixed seismic station or one of remote posts of geophysical observation with data transfer to the RCP server of Simferopol; on target is creation of an automated seismological network for researching the geodynamical processes in the seismic hazard Crimean-Black Sea area. The application scope is seismology and seismic activity distant sensing. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
