The experimental and theoretical researches of use multi-layered multi-component and gradient coatings of the metal-cutting tools' working surfaces have been carried out on the basis of vacuum-plasma spraying and firm lubricants to increase wear resistance, resistance to mechanical fatigue and to alternating cyclic loadings. The new technology of application of the firm lubricants on the existing vacuum-plasma coating with use of superficial plastic deformation has been developed as the results of the researches.
