The are set the regularities of structure formation under phase transformations in liquid-solid and solid state, uncluding features and kinetics of phase transformations in high-chromium cast irons of different composition with nanocrystalline structure of austenite decomposition products, redistribution of alloying elements among phases and structural components of high-chromium cast irons with nanocrystalline structure in cast and heat -treated states, which will provide increase of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance and prolong service life of composite rolls. There are developed the modes of heat treatment on bainite, which will allow to provide nanocrystalline structure and prolong the service life of composite rolls.
