Software-based optimization of structure and characteristics of transceivers. Key goals - to develop theoretical base and methodology for optimized design of transceivers for satellite earth stations and their components, based on mathematic theory, computer-aided design and methodology of calculation of components. The most widely spread earth stations for satellite communications, transceivers and their components have been investigated. Methods, modern systems for modeling and design of transceivers and their components have been analyzed. The structural and functional build together with their quality indicators of the transmitter-receiver link have been investigated. Based on the mathematic theory and computer-aided design package "CHANES" developed by the authors, and VHDL-AMS language, the medium for modeling transceivers and their components has been developed and realized in the software system Rincon. Using this software together with other computer-aided design tools allows significant increase of efficiency in development of transceivers of earth stations and their components.
