Purpose: definition of laws of formation of demographic parameters of health of the population depending on categories of radioactive contaminated zones and development of the recommendations on performance of measures antiradiation, social and medical protection of the affected. Methods: demographic, mathematics-statistical. Results: іs determined, that for 1991-2005 in contaminated zones: the reduction populousnes was more expressive (zone 2 - on 88,5 %, zone 3 - on 10 %, zone 4 - on 40 %), than in the control. In 1991-2000 52-98 % losses of populousnes in zones 2 and 3 were caused migration by outflow of the population, further - prevalence died above born and deterioration of age structure of the inhabitants; as against the nation-wide, oblasts and rayon's tendencies to decrease, the birth rate in a zone 2 grew and now it makes 11,1 ‰ and we exceed levels in other researched territories; the mortality in zones 2, 3, 4 was in 1,5-2 times above than in the control and authentically above than in Ukraine as a whole, which was caused first of all by change of age structure of the population; average age of death (in a zone 2 - for 3,3 years, in a zone 3 - for 4,5 years, in a zone 4 - for 3,0 years essentially has decreased, mainly at the expense of the persons of a male); the parameter vitality of the population became in 1,5-2,4 times smaller (zone 2-0,38, zone 3-0,38, zone 4-0,23) than in the control (Ukraine - 0,55, Zhitomir province - 0,52, Kiev province - 0,51). On set of the investigated parameters, health of the inhabitants of the contaminated territories is recognized by worse, than population, which lives is in the radioactive not contaminated districts.
