Purpose of work: to develop conceptual positions of technological competitiveness and define the prognosis scenarios of its development; to develop criteria and mechanisms of investment technological update of economy; to ground the system of indexes of competitiveness of national economy; to prepare conclusions and suggestions in relation to the structural factors of competitiveness of national economy; institutional bases of providing of competitiveness of human potential and stimulation of technological development of economy of Ukraine. Article of research: criteria and mechanisms of innovative-technological update of economy and increase of its competitiveness Research methods: statistical methods, analytical methods, methods of comparative analysis, methods of ekonomiko-matematicheskogo design. Research results: the criteria of estimation of potential of development of economy of Ukraine are explored; positions ofUkraine in rating of global competitiveness after basic indicators are analyzed: after the level of serednodushovogo profit, after the VVP level for PKS, by labor productivity as the VVP volume for PKS, by the degree of openness of economy, after the level of energy consumption, by efficiency of internal market, in quality of institutionary environment; oyuosnovani criteria and mechanisms of innovative-technological update of economy and increase of its competitiveness; the theoretical bases of conception of support of competitiveness of human capital at different level of functioning are grounded; basic directions of forming of state mechanism of increase of national competitiveness are grounded; the basic determinants of forming of competitiveness of human capital are certain, that allowed to outline basic directions of state policy; the model of estimation of competitiveness of human capital is formed; are reflected "bottlenecks" of the system of recreation, which negatively affect the criteria of estimation and mechanisms of realization of innovative-technological update of economy; the comparative analysis of capital of unfinancial corporate sector of Ukraine and Britain is conducted, that gave possibility to expose low efficiency of the use of capital by a domestic production sector; the tendencies of development of world and domestic industry are explored; a different nature of prichinno-sledstvennih communications is shown in world and in Ukraine in the change of correlation of "poslugi-virobnitstvo"; methodological approaches to forming of strategy of technological development of enterprises on the bases of classic positions and features of strategic process are developed; directions of recreation of the system of scientific-technological prognostication are offered as a key condition of providing of technological competitiveness and principles of forming of prognosis of innovative-technological development of industries of industry are developed; the scenarios of development of technological competitiveness of Ukraine are developed. The results of NIR are inculcated: developments of basic directions of forming of state mechanism of increase of national competitiveness are used for preparation of informatsionno-analiticheskih materials of Department of economics of Ukraine, Vehicle of RNBO Ukraine. The structural model of organizational-economic mechanism of increase of level of technological development of industry from positions of makro- and mikro- approaches, application of which will allow system and in good time to expose and it is correct to estimate his possibilities, is offered, progressive and undesirable changes in the forms of organization of production and labour, functioning of separate or all aggregate of elements of production-innovative activity.
