Aim of study: determination of strategies of biological study of remains of sacrificial animals in the Gurzuf Saddle Taurian sanctuary by the analysis of collection through samples from different archeolgical layers. Method of study: sample analysis in lab. 3000 samples of teeth and bones were studied. Cattle, goat and sheep, pigs (among them, wild boars), red deer and dog were identified in the sacrifices. Changes in species composition and age structure of sacrificial animals in different layers were found. Perspectives of analysis of biological parameters of sacrificial animals of the sanctuary were assessed.
