Objective: to improve methods for non-invasive diagnosing diseases of digestive system in adolescents by studying exhaled gas (EG) parameters. Methods: respiratory test (RT) with employing novel gas-sensitive sensors, clinico-anamnestic, biochemical, instrumental morphological, histological, immunofermental polymerase chain reaction, and statistical. Theoretical and practical results: there were determined in clinical practice some peculiarities of EG parameters in adolescents with different CGDD variants. The were worked out and adapted to pediatric practice certain methodological approaches to registration and analysis of sensor response signal to human EG. It was proved that the response of sensors according to the signal of t2 relaxation time depended on Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) infection and on the degree of H.p.-associated changes in gastral and duodenal mucosae. It was established that another sensory response parameter Max1/Max2 (correlation of exposition Max1 to relaxation Max2 amplitude maximus) changed at different states of basal intragastral acidity. There were determined the sensitivity and specificity of the developed RT. There were demonstrated advantages and prospectiveness of employing sensor analysis for development of a new method for non-invasive diagnosis on the basis of analyzing human exhalation products. Novelty: there was studied the response of novel sensors based on TCNQ salts to the action of the gas exhaled by adolescents with CGDD. It was established that the curves of sensor response have specific peculiarities in adolescents with CGDD compared with practically healthy adolescents matching in age. Such curves may serve as a new diagnostic method. There were revealed differences in RT in H.p.-infected patients in comparison with H.p.-negative patients. An idea of determining H.p.-infection by its non-urease products was realized by employment of sensors. It was proved that RT results correlate with the signs of basal intragastral acidity. A mathematical model for the determining the state of gastral acid-forming function was built. Effectiveness: employing EG sensor analysis in patients with dyspeptic complaints will make it possible to improve CGDD early diagnosis and treatment and to prevent the disease progression. Application fields: pediatrics, pediatric gastroenterology, adolescent therapy. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
