They are based on the fundamental laws of thermodynamics against the phase equilibrium of the multy-component BaO - Al2O3 - Fe2O3 - SiO2 system in subsolidus area. Basic principles of the barium-containing cements synthesis of the special-purpose with the complex of the performance characteristics and concretes on their basis were formulated. Principles for receiving and phase composition control of the special barium-containing cements were in theory grounded and proved by experiments. These cements are synthesized in the conditions of the quenching and slow cooling and are determined by possibilities of thermodynamics equilibrium reversibility in the solid phase reactions of the BaO - Al2O3 - Fe2O3 - SiO2 system.
