Monitoring of changes in the mode of deformation of rock mass and protected objects within the region of impact of auger mining of the experimental stretch has been carried out. Seismic acquisition program and exploration technique were written in order to define an objective pattern of coal-rock tectonic structure of shaft safety pillar. Adapted auger techniques have been developed and by the results of their production test recommendations were made relating to their use in different mining-geologic conditions.
