The purpose of the scientific-research work is fixation and analysis of globalization influence on folk culture, determination of immune role of folklore in Ukrainian culture self-identify; eduction of folklore connection with the newest forms of national culture. Methods of research: comparativ, historical and discriptive, inductive and deductive. Results of the research: the concept of co-existence of moddern globalizational and traditional forms of culture in the Region has been created; database of folklore and antroponomy material of Nyzhnye Naddniprov'ya has been replenished. The research has been conducted for the first time, it has an regional specific nature and is based on local material; for the first time introducing factual and theoretical material into the field of study of folklore and antroponomy. The materials of the scientific-research work are used in the course of teaching theory of folklore, the ukrainian language and literature and art courses.
