International experience in budget revenue forecasting and opportunity to apply it in Ukraine are analyzed. The capability of modern techniques for long-term budget revenue forecasting is investigated; in particular, the experimental estimations for the most popular forecasting methods are made. Proposed in the work are econometric models for long-term budget revenue forecasting. The long-term prognostication method for budget revenue through ratio of relevant indicators, and methodical approach to budget revenue forecasting based on multiplicative regression are developed. On the ground of the proposed approaches the long-term forecasts of the consolidated budget revenue are simulated, and the key trends of the budget parameters development for long-term outlook are investigated.
